To make this easy to wear and easy to wash Cinderella dress, first start with my Beautiful Dreamer pattern:



You will make the angel sleeve version of the nightgown.  This pattern includes sizes 1-12 so you can be making princess dresses for a long time!!!  Or, of course nightgowns as the pattern was intended.  :)


On Ellie's Cinderella dress, I omitted the placket in the skirt since it was just a play dress.  However, it was tight to get it on over her head so I would recommend still doing the placket.  However, I did not do buttons.  I just sewed velcro to the closing so that it is easy on/easy off for dressing up.


I also added some things to make it very "princess-like":  a white peplum and a bit of satin ribbon down the center of the bodice.
