My patterns on You Can Make This!

Posted by Laura Johnson on May 18, 2010 at 4:41 PM Comments comments (2)

Well I didn't make you wait too long to know one of the secrets...

My patterns are now on You Can Make This!!!

I'm so excited about this, not only because YCMT is a great place to purchase downloadable patterns, but also because my patterns were accepted!!  Not many people may know this but YCMT has very strict guidelines a pattern must adhere to and also sends each pattern through very thorough testing.  I've been working with them for the past couple of months and it is so exciting to see my patterns listed there!

Now for my other secret...may have to wait a little longer for that one!  Ha!

My patterns coming to Sew Baby!

This is exciting news for me!  A couple of weeks ago, Ann from Sew Baby contacted me about offering my patterns through her store.  I am so honored and flattered by her request!  Her storefront is just so adorable.  If you haven't checked out her site, please do!  She will be selling both my paper patterns and e-patterns.  Thank you so much Ann!!  It is going to be fun working with you!

Some things for Fine Stitchery

I recently made a couple of dresses for Barbara at Fine Stitchery and she was kind enough to showcase them on her website.  I thought I would show them to you, too.  All of the materials and laces are from Fine Stitchery.  She has wonderful prices on all of her inventory and is going to be expanding her fabric line.

The first one is a sweet little sundress using my Lucy Locket pattern with hand embroidery at the hem and ecru laces and entredeaux.  The fabric is this beautiful light blue lawn that was a dream to work with:

The next one is a fun little dress using my Sugar Horses pattern in a cute retro print.  For this one, I used her swiss edging on the hem and also behind the bodice to peek out a little.  Her swiss embroidered insertion form a band around the bodice.  I really like this one.

Also, with Sugar Horses, my friend Susan from SusanB Designs has taken my very simple hand-applique of the dala horse and made an adorable machine embroidery design.  This is stitched out on a white pique.  I think this would be so cute on the hem of the dress.  You can purchase her designs here.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

I'm so excited to say that my patterns can now be also found at Fairytale Frocks and Lollipops!  Terri has been wonderful to work with and her site is just soooooo cute!  She has an incredible list of designers that she carries and I'm honored to be among them.  Thanks, Terri, for bringing my patterns into your shop!
