I opened up my inbox this morning to the most beautiful pictures ever! You have to see these!!! Annastasia Cruz from My Treasured Heirlooms took my Pocket o' Posies pattern and changed the hand embroidery section to shadow work. Look at how beautiful these pictures are! Annastasia is so incredibly talented. On her website, she has beautiful smocking and crochet patterns for sale and some fabulous free smocking plates too.
Thank you for sending these pictures to me Annastasia! You are amazing!!!

Here is the dress finished.

It didn't take long at all but I'm just a little slow about downloading pictures! I used my pattern Pocket o' Posies and added a sweet little collar and a sash in the back. Now just to find some pretty buttons and I'm done!

One thing I love about this dress is that the sleeves are not overly poofy (although I do like that in some dresses!) and they are short. I added white cotton embroidered lace beading and eyelet edging to the sleeves and the same edging to the collar. Isn't this sweet little collar so cute!

This pattern is very versatile. If you make something using this pattern, please send me a picture! I would love to include it in my photo gallery to give others inspiration.

Today I worked on a variation of my Pocket o' Posies pattern. I'm going to put this free smocking plate in my tutorials. I love the puffing this super easy plate creates! I think this is going to be really cute on. Hopefully I will have time to finish it up tonight and can show it to you tomorrow.
