All about KNITS

Today, I have TWO new doll patterns and they are both for KNITS!!  Yay!  I love sewing with knits and Ellie loves when I make her something soft and cozy.  Of course, the wash and wear quality is also a bonus.  A lot of people are unnecessarily scared of sewing with knits.  Truly, these patterns are written for the beginner!  My pattern testers always remark to me that my patterns are one of the most complete and thorough knit patterns out there.  It is chock full of tips to make it easy-peasy for you.  Give it a try!  You will be soo glad you did!

 

First up, is Mini-Elsie Marley.  How perfect is this pattern for fall?!!  Long sleeves, cozy, twirly…and now her doll can match!!  The girl pattern comes in sizes 1-5 and is called Elsie Marley.

 

 

Last year, when this was originally tested, Colleen made the pattern uniquely her own by changing the hem, adding elastic to the sleeves, and adding a collar.  The nice thing about my doll patterns is that all the pieces are interchangeable.  You can easily change the look and make it uniquely yours!!

Next is Mini-Sandpiper.  I did not sew up another sample of this last night (I was really starting to run out of steam!)  But, here are a few pattern tester pictures from last year.  The girl pattern, Sandpiper is also in the shop and is for sizes 1-5.  It is still hot, hot, HOT here so we can still get quite a bit of use out if this.  But, you could also pair it with a long sleeve tee in the fall/winter too.
