Such a fun day we’ve had already! But, I tell you…I think photographing dolls is harder than little girls! That sounds silly but I was exhausted by the time we finished this morning. This pictures shows a lot of new patterns still coming. I decided to offer TWO for sale again today!

Miss Molly and Miss Tess invited their friends to a late summer picnic at their grandmother’s Victorian house. They served strawberry lemonade and raspberry tea with berry scones their grandmother had baked.

The butterflies flitted about and the sun shone happily while they chatted about their recent sewing projects, and riding horses, and made daisy wreaths for each other’s hair.

Miss Nellie proudly displayed her grandmother’s antique rose-colored pearls as she had tea with her friends.

Miss Felicity relaxed in the grass with her summer frock spread all around her.

She picked daisies and recited the familiar “he loves me, he loves me not” as she daydreamed about her Prince Charming.

They had a lovely time and decided to make it an annual tradition as they wished summer goodbye and welcomed autumn days.

The first pattern on sale is one that is actually already in my Pattern Shop…Mini Twirl Girl. This one is so fast to make for dolls. It has a lined bodice and a velcro opening in the back with no gathering. I love circle skirts!

Here are some other examples too:

Doll PDF pattern: $4.95
Twirl Girl (Girl sizes 4-12) AND Twirl Girl for Dolls PDF patterns: $12.95

The second one is brand NEW! It is Mini Miss Mary. It matches my Miss Mary Mack dress for sizes 1-5. It’s so hard to see in these pictures because of the sun but it has a tiny peter pan collar and puffed sleeves.

This was tested last year and I received wonderful pictures from pattern testers.

Part of what made this day exciting for Ellie is that when the tea party was over (and we started to pack these dolls back up to take back to their owner), Ellie was feeling sad and really wishing she had an 18″ American Girl doll (she has Grace, her Bitty Baby). I was planning on saving this until Christmas time but I just couldn’t! These pictures were when I told her that this one was a brand new doll that I bought just for her!

And part of what made MY day exciting is that I finally have an assistant!! I am so over-the-moon excited! I could hardly sleep last night thinking of all I want and am going to be able to do now! More details coming soon on that. I can’t wait to introduce you to her as soon as we get all our details worked out. There’s some exciting changes coming up that you are going to love!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Thanks for visiting me!
