Ruff! Ruff!

When I was little, I always wanted a dalmatian.  I think the black and white spots are just so cute.  A friend of mine gave me this dalmatian corduroy and it is a nice weight like a baby cord or featherwale.  When Jessica shared her cute pink cord “Jazzy” that she made yesterday, I knew I wanted to use that dalmatian fabric for one for Ellie too.  I had JUST enough!  I don’t know why I saved those scraps of fabric so long!!  They would have never made a size 5 of ANYTHING else!  But I just love it with this.  I ordered a cute little dalmatian applique to put on the shirt too but I ran out of time to do that.  So that will have to wait til next week.

And, I made this with a flat front and an elastic back using the measurements and tutorial I posted here yesterday.  It was super easy to change and I love the way it looks.  Sorry for the belly shot but it was too hard to see it with the black shirt in the background.

So many different possibilities with this pattern…  What will you make?  Only a few more hours left to take advantage of my sale for the week!!
